Dr. Lauren Griffiths

Osteopath & Director

Lauren grew up in Tasmania, where she was a part of many high-level sporting teams. These activities led her to discover osteopathy and a style of treatment that appealed to her. She moved to Melbourne to complete her Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Science in Osteopathy, where she excelled and received a University Award for her efforts.

Lauren moved to Wollongong for a more relaxed lifestyle and has been working in the region ever since. She has completed further study and courses in indirect techniques, pelvic health, breathing, persisting pain and pain education. This further study has given Lauren a passion for pregnancy, athletes, women’s health, pelvic health, life coaching and chronic pain management.

Lauren has an emphasis on treating the patient as a whole, including psychological and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to pain or discomfort. An appointment with Lauren will lead to a personalised treatment plan that takes into account all factors of a patient's life, to make lasting positive changes through manual therapy and education. Lauren uses a range of manual techniques including dry needling, spinal manipulation, joint articulation, myofascial cupping, myofascial release, soft tissue massage and cranial techniques.

When Lauren is not helping her patients in the clinic, she enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors, travelling the world and most of all, spending time with friends and family.
