Dr. Belinda Clark

Osteopath & Director

Belinda grew up on the Mornington Peninsula, completed her studies in Melbourne, then began her osteopathic career working in Wollongong enjoying the coastal life.

Whilst working as a chef, Belinda suffered from chronic headaches. This led her to engage in regular osteopathic treatment where education, treatment and advice enabled her to manage her condition and improve her quality of life. Naturally, this appealed to Belinda’s interest in health, inspiring the next chapter of her life.

Belinda completed her Masters of Osteopathy at Victoria University to be a life-long learner and live her best life helping others. It is her goal to educate and empower her patients on the role they can play in regaining their health.

Belinda enjoys treating a range of patients with various needs, including neck and jaw pain, headaches, postural complaints, breathing dysfunctions, pelvic pain and chronic pain. Her treatment techniques include soft tissue, muscle energy, indirect and visceral techniques, manipulation, dry needling, exercise prescription and education.

Belinda has completed further study in Integrative Breathing Therapy for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders associated with breathing dysfunction. Belinda has also done further study in visceral manipulation, and uses this knowledge to work with the organs of the abdomen and improve how they connect, interact and influence the rest of the body.

This further study allows Belinda to practice in a truely holistic manner, aligning well with the guiding principles of osteopathy; 'the body is a unit' encompassing all systems not just the musculoskeletal.

In her spare time, Belinda loves anything outdoors; she will most likely be found in the ocean, at the beach with her puppy Bailey, bushwalking, or getting creative at the clay studio.
